L'oreal True Match & Makeupforever Inbvisible Cover HD foundation

Heyyy lovelyss!!! It's been awhile school has taken over my life great right?!! Kidding lol!! :) Since school has started I've gone back to wearing makeup everyday and so this means new foundation reviews :)!! First one I'll talk about is the L'oreal True match. You've seen the commercial with Beyonce, and Jennifer Lopez flaunting their oh so perfect skin. I've heard a lot of hype about this foundation on youtube waaaay back but I didn't pay it any mind. It didn't help that it was a pain finding my color any drugstore, but after searching high and low I found one. I'm a nw45 in MAC and a C8 in l'oreal true match. I've neen wearing this foundation for maybe three weeks and I loveee it! If you have oily skin this is for you! If you don't like packing on concealer and want the foundation to do all the work for you then this is for you! Nguerriero19, I watch her on YouTube, she uses this in all her videos and she always looks flawless in them. This foundation doesn't budge, melt, fade, oxidize (which is when the oils in your skin mix with the foundation and causes it to change color) or separate. I apply it at 7 am and at 7 p.m it looks the same that deserves an A in my book. It retails for $9 in most drugstores try it out if anything you can return it:)
Now onto Makeup forever HD foundation:

Now before I say anything this foundation it is meant for people who are on camera taking videos and pictures and for people who are on tv. This HD foundation claims according to sephora: "An oil-free medium-to-full-coverage liquid foundation that covers skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life." It also says that this is what the foundation is supposed to do:"This long-wearing foundation creates a soft-focus effect, which is designed to meet the coverage concerns of those in the spotlight. It leaves your complexion with such a flawless finish; it can withstand bright or harsh lighting." That’s all nice but I know you're thinking "I'm just a regular person why do I need this foundation?" well you don't BUT say if you are in a wedding, or you getting married, or you are on camera as in tv show, talk show taping, YouTube videos, photo shoots etc this would help. I'm a fan of full coverage foundations and I don't feel that this does it. I can definitely say that on camera this foundation does look good. I know people like Kim Kardashian and Wendy Williams use this foundation on camera and they always look amazing. This foundation didn't "wow me" for an everyday wear. I will save it for going out or when I have to take pictures. This is a $40 dollar foundation so try the sample out at sephora before buying it! They'll give you samples of any foundation or a tinted moisturizer you want…Just ask :). I didn't hate this foundation so I didn't return it. I don't love it, don't hate it, but I like it and I think if I was always on camera I would love it! Also for you oily skin girls, put a primer under this or you won’t like what you look like in a few hours. This foundation is more suited for normal to dry skin I think it sits on their skin better. It’s just my opinion its worth getting a sample of but your decision if you want to purchase it:)

Skindinavia & LOTD (Lip of the Day)

SKINDINAVIA!!!!! This is a MIRACLE IN A BOTTLE !! At least for me it is :) I watch way to many makeup gurus on youtube and I've got to say; but this was raved about so much that...I gave in duhh! lol:) Skindinavia no more shine is a makeup setting spray that is suppose to seal your makeup so it doesn't budge at all whatsoever! Now, I have oily skin I'M CURSED!!!..no I'm kidding oily skin is actually good because we won't get wrinkles as early as people with dry or normal skin (that's a plus to me). Now back to the spray a few spritzs' of this on your face and your makeup doesn't melt off! Girls I'm talking when you look in the mirror and you realized that your makeup looks all blotchy and its melting on your face..HOT MESS I TELL YOU! You can avoid this by all means if you get a good primer and a ahhhhhmaazziingggg setting spray! want to know a secret? Put a thin layer of Milk of Magnesia on your face it traps the oils so it doesn't come through and ruin your makeup! I've been there my face is all matte in the morning and a few hours later I look like a oil slick ball so annoying! This stuff is great! I MEAN ITS LEGIT SO YOU BETTER NOT QUIT :) There's different formulations for different skin types whether you're oily, normal or combination which means you get oily in your t-zone. whats your t-zone you say? Its the nose, the cheeks, and forehead :) This and my milk of magnesia is my army against oily skin and I'm winning go me :) You can find this spray at www.skindinavia.com

&&&&& NOW LOTD (Lip of the day)
Now we know I Love the karashians...madly! Bible :) lol! So the past few days this is what I've been wearing on my lips its MAC's Angel lipstick and NYX lip gloss in Beige. Kim Kardashian swears by this color but she wears it with NARS Turkish Delight I haven't tried that so I do with NYX lip gloss! Another one of my faves is MAC's Blankety which is a nude color it has a beige undertone. Angel is a pink lipstick but its also nude it kinds of mutes your lips. One of those colors that you say its my lips but better:) Here are the colors below and I will include swatches from pics on google hahaa!

False eyelashes..what's all the hype about?

False Lashes...
Hi my darlings! So let's get to it we've all seen all of the deceiving mascara commercials that state "if you wear this mascara you get instant volume & length and all that good stuff," but now what happens when you actually buy the product and it fails to live up to your expectations? Its a bummer I know. Being the makeup junkie that I am I've tried l'oreal, covergirl, maybelline, lancome, MAC, and chanel to name a few. Some of them did great job and others were ehhh mediocre lol. It really comes down to what you like, some people prefer the natural and others like myself prefer the dramatic look. You cant really get the "dramatic look," of lashes unless you already have long lashes or you choose to pile on coats of mascara. Being the makeup junkie I am I've done the piling on, and wearing different mascaras together and nothing works. What's left to do then? You move on to falsies:)! Now you can get false lashes anywhere from your local pharmacy or your nearest department store like Macys, Bloomingdales, and Nordstrom. False lashes come in different styles their are natural looking ones and then they have thick dramatic ones its your preference. You can find individual lashes where you add them to your lashes where you feel you need more length and volume. Individual lashes give you more control. Then we have the strip lashes that you can get at your local pharmacy. With the strip lashes, you just apply lash adhesive (lash glue) to the strip let it dry for a few seconds then place it very close to your lash line. If you're thinking about getting this type of lashes a great brand to try is Ardell lashes. This is a picture of a pair:

A great lash adhesive to use that I've personally used is the Duo lash adhesive in clear. They also have one that dries to a darker tone like a black but that one could be tricky to use just takes practice though. I prefer the clear one. You can find this glue at Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens, Duane Reade etc. It retails for seven dollars. Here's a picture:

Now last but not least there is another method to false lashes and its the professional ones. You can go to certain salons that will do them for you it could range from $25 to $200 it just depends where you go. With these lashes you have to go in regularly like every two weeks to get them filled in if any of the lashes have fallen out. You can also get them done every month I believe.
With all the hype of false lashes and everyone is getting them its tempting to try. There's different methods you just see what works for you. I have yet to try the professional ones but I will soon! So its your choice you can stick to mascara or go with false lashes. FYI when you wear false lashes, you should also wear a coat or two of mascara to blend everything and make then look more like your own.

You wear to much makeup! SAY WHAT?!

If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all..haven't we all heard this at one point or another? I admit I'm a college student who doesn't always have time in the morning but then again who does? But somehow I make time for my makeup lol! I'm talking 7:30 class in the am and I wake up at 5 just so I have time to do EVERYTHING in the morning. I'm addicted to beauty as this blog says so obviously I wear makeup daily..lets just say makeup IS MY RELIGION! Since I've been wearing it for awhile I've heard "You wear to much makeup!" but honestly I've watched enough youtube videos to know that its not that I wear so much it just looks like I do. Yes it sounds crazy that I go to class wearing all the works on my face but its what im used to :) To all the girls who just wear like mascara and eyeliner and some blush and their out the door thats great wish I could do that! It comes down to preference I'll admit maybe what I wear to school is a bit much since its just school but otherwise that ehhh its fine. I have friends who get away with powder and mascara and I just say "go you!" lol. I'm accustomed to the "made up look" so I'll be doing it as long as I can hahaa! Don't get me wrong I go makeup less somedays so I've come a lonnngg way ask my friends :) At the end of the day you should wear what you want and rock it, ts your style why not ;) If you ever had to hear you wear to much or to little this is for you :) SO WEAR IT, LIVE IT, ROCK IT, LOVE IT & always remember to stay beautiful on the inside and out xoxo lovelys!

kardashian Kolors !

 

Are you keeping up with the kardashians?! :)

If your answer is no then shame shame shame! LOL! The lovely kardsahians are still finding ways to grow their empire won't argue with that! Just Last week they launched Kardashian Kolors by Nicole by OPI. Now if you are completely obsessed with the kardashians then you're probably trying to get hese polishes! Their exclusively sold at Walmart and they came out for the holidays. I'm pretty sure they will be permanent:). I rushed over to my nearest Walmart when I heard this but I don't think they had them yet. So my step was the walmart website! Unfortunately they were sold out except for one color "Hard kourt Fashonista." All of the polishes are incorporated with one of the names of the kardashians for example "Kimpletely in love," "Sealed with a Kris,' and "Khloe had a little Lam Lam."
