Heyyy lovelyss!!! It's been awhile school has taken over my life great right?!! Kidding lol!! :) Since school has started I've gone back to wearing makeup everyday and so this means new foundation reviews :)!! First one I'll talk about is the L'oreal True match. You've seen the commercial with Beyonce, and Jennifer Lopez flaunting their oh so perfect skin. I've heard a lot of hype about this foundation on youtube waaaay back but I didn't pay it any mind. It didn't help that it was a pain finding my color any drugstore, but after searching high and low I found one. I'm a nw45 in MAC and a C8 in l'oreal true match. I've neen wearing this foundation for maybe three weeks and I loveee it! If you have oily skin this is for you! If you don't like packing on concealer and want the foundation to do all the work for you then this is for you! Nguerriero19, I watch her on YouTube, she uses this in all her videos and she always looks flawless in them. This foundation doesn't budge, melt, fade, oxidize (which is when the oils in your skin mix with the foundation and causes it to change color) or separate. I apply it at 7 am and at 7 p.m it looks the same that deserves an A in my book. It retails for $9 in most drugstores try it out if anything you can return it:)
Now onto Makeup forever HD foundation:
Now before I say anything this foundation it is meant for people who are on camera taking videos and pictures and for people who are on tv. This HD foundation claims according to sephora: "An oil-free medium-to-full-coverage liquid foundation that covers skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life." It also says that this is what the foundation is supposed to do:"This long-wearing foundation creates a soft-focus effect, which is designed to meet the coverage concerns of those in the spotlight. It leaves your complexion with such a flawless finish; it can withstand bright or harsh lighting." That’s all nice but I know you're thinking "I'm just a regular person why do I need this foundation?" well you don't BUT say if you are in a wedding, or you getting married, or you are on camera as in tv show, talk show taping, YouTube videos, photo shoots etc this would help. I'm a fan of full coverage foundations and I don't feel that this does it. I can definitely say that on camera this foundation does look good. I know people like Kim Kardashian and Wendy Williams use this foundation on camera and they always look amazing. This foundation didn't "wow me" for an everyday wear. I will save it for going out or when I have to take pictures. This is a $40 dollar foundation so try the sample out at sephora before buying it! They'll give you samples of any foundation or a tinted moisturizer you want…Just ask :). I didn't hate this foundation so I didn't return it. I don't love it, don't hate it, but I like it and I think if I was always on camera I would love it! Also for you oily skin girls, put a primer under this or you won’t like what you look like in a few hours. This foundation is more suited for normal to dry skin I think it sits on their skin better. It’s just my opinion its worth getting a sample of but your decision if you want to purchase it:)
